Extremely unprofessional service, not to mention no one answers the phone listed on their website. I called three times, they pick up and immediately hang up. Taxpayers deserve the courtesy of a voice message! I was also disappointed with the insufficient information provided on their website. I made two trips to their Myrtle Beach office .
I thought on my second visit I was going to get done, however, their antiquated system require only cash as a form of payment. If you say you'll use your debit card, there is a $20.00 surcharge,which according to the clerk, it's for "processing the payment. Unreal!
They view the citizens her as dirt bags. My house was broken into so I had to cancel all my bank accounts, credit cards, etc. I forgot to take the checks out of my check book and inadvertently wrote a bad check. Was not notified by their office. Ever. Got notice from my bank and went in person to make it right and they refused payment. Three months later I get a letter form another dept. threatening me with felony charges if I didn't pay within three days. Two sets of fees and fine were equal to the amount of the check. Gee thanks whorry county.
Can never get information I seek. Whether paying tax for vehicle. Land up calling in payment or seeking information. You go in circles. Very poorly set up site. I'm sorry but my experience since moving here. Need to make user friendly.
call and phone hangs up automatically would say they had awful customer service but the have NO Customer Service!
Ditto everyone else. They never, never , never answer the phones. Don't waste your time calling. I once did get someone to answer but they put me on hold and left me sitting for over 20 minutes before I was hung up on. If you must speak to someone, go to the office and prepare to stand in line and wait forever.
