Wow this place was a great place to eat at. Service was great took really good care of the party of 5 we had. The food up at the food bar was excellent. Wide selection of all types of food to eat. The ribs where fall off the bone cooked very well. Crab legs were a great hit with the party of people I went with. I would say this place is a must go to and eat. Kid friendly place to enjoy a great family meal at.

The restaurant had a pretty cool theme with a ship motif and waitstaff as crewmates. Wait staff were friendly enough, however cool themes and friendly waitstaff do not make up for terrible food. The food seemed like it had sat out for awhile and dried out. The fried portions of food were over fried and not good. There was at least 6 to 7 tables of food to choose from but none were overly eye appealing. The crab legs were not that good either. They were cold and bathed in what seemed like a salt mine. After eating the food I didn't feel very good either and then the bill came. I was gutted for $163!! for 4 people, for bad food and drinks!!! It would have been more tolerable if the food was good! I absolutely DO NOT recommend this establishment! Steer Clear!!

4 people in my dinner party = $155.....If the food was good I wouldn't care about the price. But it wasn't & that really sucks. I read reviews from Google from past customers. Most of them were correct! The restaurant was good with the concept of being a seafood restaurant. (1)You are greeted by a pirate outside. (2)Waitresses are at the front door waiting to seat you. (3)There was no wait time. (4)The waitress gives you a quick tour of the restaurant while showing you to your table. (5)You get a basket of hush puppies that are a cross between Jiffy cornbread & cake [my family didn't like them]! (6)Go get your food [almost everything is FRIED] (7)Crab legs are salty & the batter used to fry the food is spicy too. (8)Desserts: Red Velvet cake was my favorite & the other cakes were either frozen or dry. Therefore, my opinion is to eat somewhere else or cook at home. My husband wanted to eat here so bad. I tired to warn him from all the bad reviews. And now, our experience is going to be one of those bad reviews!

As perfect as perfect can get. Staff was the best I've EVER had anywhere. The food was so so so good and looked amazing. Beautiful food layouts. 11 dining rooms? Yeah absolutely will return very very soon. You must try this out.

I ate here once about 6 years ago, and really enjoyed it! So I thought I'd go there again on this trip to treat my friend who loves crab legs! This time I was extremely disappointed because the quality of the food was definitely not nearly as good as I remembered. All the fried food tasted the same like they were using old oil, no matter what the food actually was (fried shrimp tasted just like the hush puppies), the salad bar was very limited. Even the desserts were uninspired and tasteless, mostly fancy looking cakes that had no real taste, no pies at all, and I couldn't believe they even charge an extra $3 for a sweet tea! The price is exorbitant considering the poor quality, and I don't have the size appetite that makes it worthwhile for an all you can eat meal under most circumstances anyway, but definitely not for crappy food. I've had much better and fresher salad bars with more variety at Ruby Tuesday and Ryan's, and the desserts especially were fantastic at Ryan's. I wish they had not closed down. I never had a bad meal there, and it certainly was a lot more affordable! I will not be returning to Benjamin's ever again, but at least the service wasn't too bad!
