This was a very enjoyable shopping experience on par with what we expect from Tangier! A great diverse offering of stores catering to all the needs if the family all in a comfortable and attractive environment. Even though the center was in the middle of construction they managed to make the distraction minimal.
This is a quick review for the Shoppers service department of the Tanger Outlet while we appreciated the free use of a wheelchair we could we were not allowed to leave the a walker that we had in their location because they did not want to be responsible for it we had nothing in it except the item itself.
When we reach returned it we left our items in it and did not realize that there was a purse and key to the car in the back pocket of the wheelchair we never received a phone call or anything that we gave on the sheet that we signed off on.
Great outdoor shopping outlet. Not as many good deals as I was hoping for. They could use more bathrooms and electronic doors to make it more accessible for a handicap person. Try getting a door open in a wheelchair that's not electronic and no one to help and harder to get in a bathroom.
Great selection of stores. They are kinda spread out so prepare to walk. All the usual staples for Tanger are here. Nike, Reebok, Adidas, Under Armour and more. Food court has a great selection of food including Five Guys Burgers and Starbucks. Overall a great place to go shop when at the beach.
Well laid out and maps were helpful. Plenty of parking, easy access on and off highway. Adequate number of restrooms and food court had a variety. Few great deals available in some stores but found staff helpful and friendly in most.
When I went back to pick up the purse my mother's purse I was asked to identify it I explained it was a tan purse they said no it wasn't I said well it's tan or beige one of those colors and she said no she would not hit anything I had to explain what name was on the inside. They went ahead and confirm that but left it in the drawer until I sign for it I did not believe that I was guessing the correct information on the purse the other woman that was there also said it was not tan or beige but when I left I confirm that with other people ask them what color they saw but it was quite an ordeal I also did not have to show my ID to get it back but I did have to sign my name saying I claimed it it was a bit of a sticky situation and did not appreciate how difficult it was to get the purse back but I do understand why they might have you jump through hoops but when I came back in and explain that we just called that should have been enough to get it back as long as I showed my ID.
