Visited this place while in Myrtle beach. Went in to get some milk, yogurt and snacks for the Children. Some beer and chicken for the group [very huge selection of beer inside].
Shopped here while vacationing and had a terrible experience. Immediately after shopping there, we realized we purchased too many containers of milk. We wanted to return the milk immediately after purchase but the area was hit by a severe thunderstorm with dangerous lightning, so we waited until the next morning. We returned less than 24 hrs after purchase. When we presented our items for return, the clerk told us to wait and went to speak to a manager. When she returned, she advised that our return was refused. We asked why and she stated that the manager reserved the right to refuse returns. I then spoke to the manager, Amy. She was extremely curt and stand-offish. She stated they don't accept any returns for groceries under any circumstances other than defects. There was zero compassion or people skills. It's pretty obvious the management cares about nothing but the bottom line there. Not only did they enforce what appeared to be a very subjective and questionable policy, but they even screwed up our refund for two items that were accepted because they were defective. The clerk claimed we paid by debit even though we told her repeatedly that we paid by credit card, not a debit card. She subsequently refunded us cash for a credit card purchase. The clerk's incorrect assumption and actions makes me curious about why she was so quick to assume we paid with a debit card. It also makes me wonder if the same criteria that led to her incorrect assumption influenced any other treatment or actions toward us in the store. We kept the unneeded groceries and subsequently shopped at Target for the remainder of our stay. It was a huge relief because we were treated SO much better at Target. It's a farther drive than Walmart but the staff there are so much more friendly and professional. They actually know how to operate a store in a manner that makes people want to return. I guess this particular Walmart feels it does not have to treat customers with respect since many are vacationing non-residents.
Stopped by while passing through town. Found two pizzas on clearance for very cheap. Went to the bathroom while I was there and it was very clean. Was treated very nicely by a worker that was near the self check outs.
Awesome every single time! Beautiful views! Courteous staff! Clean rooms! Delicious food! Fun pools, games and hottubs!! Level 6 has loads of fun games and bowling for all ages, and of course great bartenders to serve up more ! Captains Quarters is my go to spot at Myrtle Beach!!
