Overall, a pretty fun experience, but beware of the cost and party size. If you don't scare easy, you might not get spooked, but you may find yourself like me; with a grin and having fun.
Spent $100 for my family of 8. We went pretty early in the day around the time they opened, so waiting in line was not an issue for us, THANKFULLY. This was definitely not worth $100. The whole adventure through the haunted house took about 6 minutes. And we never saw or encountered the 20 foot animatronics boss in the final room. Was there a 3rd floor that we were supposed to go to? It felt like we were rushed out. Terrible waste of money. I don't know if I will ever be back in Myrtle Beach, but overall, it left a very bad taste in my mouth for anything "Ripley's". Don't think I would give them another dime.
Me and my husband had a blast at this attraction! We love to come down to Myrtle Beach 'out of season' when it is not crowded what so ever. We had chosen the package deal where you get to go to the Aquarium, museum, and one other smaller attraction. The haunted house is what we chose and it was just the two of us that went through. Because we went during a not so busy time of year there were only 2 actors and I must say they did a great job! They did just enough to make you scream/ jump without being over the top where it isn't scary. The actual attraction layout was incredible in its self . Adding in laser guns to shoot zombies is just the Cherry on top! Will definitely come back and do this again.
Me and my wife did the Haunted Adventure Lazer Strike and it was Amazing! You actually get to shoot the zombies with Lazer guns man oh man was it cool!!!!! The customer service reps, Christopher, Parker and Tiffany were so helpful. They had answers for EVERY question me and my wife had. They told us all about the other attractions which we will be visiting. They had wonderful attitudes and we're just so pleasant. Helped provide an amazing experience. Can't wait to come back!!!! Such an amazing time we both had to rate and comment. LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!!!!

Now, just to let everyone know, the place is dark, cramped, and not very long. You can expect to be done within 7-10 minutes, maybe shorter or longer depending on how fast you move.
After the last shooting room, the guns are removed from everyone so they can go through the regular haunted area as the finale.
As people have said, there are only 2-3 people as live actors. This is true, but you have to remember this: the place is small and cramped; there's not a lot of room for everyone in those dark corridors. But they do their job and do it pretty well. The main enemies, aside from the actors, are props that have the special collars on them. But, with that said, there is a supposed "boss" at the end of the shooting portion, which is unfortunately static and has no motors to make it move and be the imposing monster it's supposed to be.
As far as scares go, it does a good enough job, but with all the horror games I've played, I found myself quite calm and smiling from a fun time. It is also pretty easy to go through because you have a 30 round magazine and infinite reloads with 200 health. Even after taking damage, it seemed that I healed some how along the way.
