So Disappointed. I paid a premium price for tickets to a Motown Classics Revue. The show was advertised by what turned out to be a timeshare sales company. I arrived at the show location, only to find it was a 'theater' lodged between a strip of auto repair and furniture buildings. Inside the theater, the 'reserved seats' that I paid a premium for were diner/restaurant style chairs with hand written seat numbers taped to the top. The revue consisted of 6 singers, performing karaoke-styled songs, singing over pre-recorded music. Unfortunately, the singers were amatuer and frequently off key, at times almost shrieking instead of singing. This had a very garage-show, community/neighborhood feel to it. Do NOT waste your time or money.
Very good Christmas program. Not much parking. Small to medium theater. Has some snacks and drinks.which are priced below normal affairs. Come early to get front seats.
A tribute to Motown Was fantastic, exciting and entertaining! GTS theater was a Very comfortable Venue. Take advantage of the cozy atmosphere!
Oh My Goodness, I have found a hidden gem!!! I'd love to keep it as my little secret but if you grew up loving Motown and Soul music like I did, Motor City Motown Tribute Show at GTS Theatre in Myrtle Beach,SC is a must see!! Whether you're a local, like me, or a tourist visiting the Myrtle Beach area, you cannot miss this show!! The theatre was intimate with a speakeasy type vibe. The staff and cast were amazing, laughing and joking with the audience throughout the show. And did I mention, they can SANG!!!! I was blown away and I will be back
Small intimate setting at a budget theater. Not a bad seat in the house. Staff is very friendly.
