My dad served in the Air Force almost 33 years ago. He retired from a police department with no insurance (first retirees at that department to get no health insurance with their retirement plan). Anyways, my dad has/had congestive heart failure. He couldn't afford the hospital visits, bills, and the stress of not knowing what to do made everything worse. My mother took him here. These wonderful people helped him find all the VA benefits he was eligible for, got him his med's dirt cheap---he would die without these--- and took all the stress by walking him through the whole process. This staff, at this clinic, will always have me and my family in their back pockets. God bless you all! Airborne! All the Way! Fury From the Sky!
Seperated my shoulder and who knows what else in a motorcycle accident. Told today that the VA will get back to me hopefully by Thursday...how is this the standard.
Awful awful place. I'm a 32 year old veteran and I don't think I have been treated worse by any staff and any hospital in the three different states I have lived in. Not only do operators hang up the phone on you but the nurses do too! Your building and the staff working for you have such a level of care it's proposterous. Ppl are sick and hurt. You should care a little.
The worse of the worst IMO. I wrote the director of the clinic today and told him he was FIRED, at least from providing any type of medical care to me. Yesterday while I was in the lab, a man sitting about 3 seats away was asked by the guy sitting across from me "what was wrong/why was he so angry". The guy was so pissed the only thing he could say was "I'm sick of their games here". I second that statement big time. I went there for pain management of my severe arthritis, NEVER got an appt in Charleston, and this DOCTOR "if you want to call her that" recommended I been removed from all my pain meds and have a mental health eval. This would have made me an invalid. I wouldn't let these people put a band aid on me.
