Awesome experience, friendly staff and a great thrill. The only reason I have to take a star is the rather misleading advertising of $20 copter rides. You really need to drop 2-3 times that to be up long enough to really enjoy the scenery, but you won't be disappointed if you do. It really made our trip and I thank the great pilot for making our first experience a memorable one.
This is the second time we have been. We went on the Garden City tour. My 8 and 12 year old loved it. Everybody from the front door to the ground crew to the pilot done a wonderful job. I highly recommend this to anyone. We done the 20 dollar ride last year but I say step up to one of the mid level trips.
Needless to say they could not accommodate our preferences. Even not knowing the amount we would have paid. He didn't want to help and was very dismissive and when I explained the idea of good business in accommodating people's plans that the number did not matter. He got rude and said he didn't need tidbits. As a experienced flyer I know this is bad service. So I suggest you go to another location with more knowledgeable people. Who are willing to try and make you vacation fun and easy. Any hassle is always a turn off. Especially when it's reasonable.
I loved everything...well almost everything. The pilot was great. He was very nice, friendly, and funny. The views were amazing. The cashier was very nice also. I spent more than planned a 10 minute ride was about $110.00 for two people and two noise reducing headphones. Other than the price I was not expecting the only thing I hated was being weighed but it is for safety so not a big deal I completly get it.
My wife and I took the 8 mile ride. We saw Dolphins breaking water below, the pilot was nice and funny. If you've never ridden in a helicopter, take the ride. it's affordable, and very stable aircraft. Nothing to fear at all.
Spoke with a woman about taking my family of five onto two helicopters since only 3 can ride at a time for the extended tours. She couldn't answer my question as to if and why we couldn't fly two helicopters at one time. When their sister company says they fly three all day long. Spoke with manager and he explained they don't fly two helicopters at once.
