Good thing these things can be corrected with a little training and attitude adjustment.

im so happy i DIDNT make an appt with these people. i tried getting ahold of the owner/manager/whatever she is for THREE days, just for my calls to be unanswered. couldnt leave a voicemail...mailbox was full. i could tell by the voicemail, that it was a CELL phone. turns out its the owners! so i texted her, she assured me over & over that she would get me an appt, but never called me! i decided to google map the salon. well its a trash bin! you can tell its very unclassy. looks nothing, i mean NOTHING like the website. the owner(dawn) has very poor people skills, and clearly needs to get someone who wants business to answer phone calls. a business phone would be an asset too! all i can say is they lost my business, along with 350 bucks in services, and potential referrals! nevertheless, i found a QUALIFIED salon that would treat me how a customer should be treated and is looking forward to making my hair beautiful for my wedding! thanks for wasting my time dawn and staff at deja vu! oh and one last thing...its kinda sad when even my hotel concierge refuses to recommend you due to the bad reputation of poor management and services. hahahaha

My husband and I have been going to De Ja Vu Salon and Spa for about 6 years now and have NEVER had any kind of problem nor were we ever dissatisfied! I have had 2 massages and my husband has had 2 massages and they were always professional and a excellent experience. Our 2 year old son had his first haircut there and many others as well and Dawn, the owner, has always made his experience so lovely and comforting! De Ja Vu is a very professional, comforting and extremely lovely salon and spa!

2. We charged her credit card the $30.00 an hour for her 5 hours of service we had reserved for her. All together the salon lost 10 hours of services that could have been filled by another client. Our policies have been standard and set for the last eight years.

The credit card holder had an appointment on March 2nd, 2010 for a manicure, pedicure, facial, highlight and haircut. These services total 5 hours on our appointment book. When she booked the appointment she was asked to give a credit card to reserve her appointment time. She was made aware of our cancellation policy at that time. When she didn’t show up for her appointment we called her to see if she was on the way. She informed us that she forgot about her appointment because she was pregnant and she rescheduled for two days later. We did not charge her our cancellation policy because she rescheduled for two days later, although we did lose 5 hours on our books that could have been filled by someone else. She was fully aware and understood the cancellation policy. On March 4th she had the exact same appointments booked and times on our appointment book. She No-showed again. At that time we charged her credit card the $30.00 per hour fee. We are including a copy of our cancellation policy that is posted on everyone of our brochures. It is also posted on our website and of course stated to all new clients when booking an appointment. We also do reminder calls the day before to give every customer the opportunity to cancel if need be.

Well it said to say they lost my business before I even set foot in the door. I called to find out hours and available services and the young lady seemed disinterested in talking to me about anything but making an apt. Was now speaking very professionally for being an apt only salon.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR REAL CREDIT CARD THEY WILL CHARGE YOU IF YOU DONT CANCEL. I WAS GIVING BIRTH WHEN I HAD MY APPOINTMENT AND THEY CHARGED ME $150...I CALLED AND THE OWNER WAS SOOOOO NASTY, SHE WAS TRYING TO GET OFF THE PHONE WITH ME AS QUICK AS POSSIBLE, I COULDNT BELIEVE IT, I EXPLAINED THAT I WAS GIVING BIRTH AND SHE DIDNT CARE AT ALL! I THOUGHT CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS A BUSINESSES MAJOR PRIORITY, I GUESS NOT FOR THIS PLACE. I WAS A SPA MANAGER IN NYC FOR 8 YRS AND ANYTIME THIS HAPPENED WE CREDITED THEM BACK. TAKE MY ADVICE IF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THAT HORRIBLE THAN I CANT IMAGINE HOW IT IS INSIDE THE SPA...I FINALLY WENT TO DOLCE LUSSO AND THEY WERE THE TOTAL OPPOSITE I GOT A FACIAL AND MASSAGE AND MAN PEDI AND THEY WERE SOOOO LOVELY, MY FATHER N LAW IS A DOCTOR IN MYRLTE BEACH AND HE HAS ALSO TURNED ALL HIS PATIENCES SOMEWHERE ELSE...WHEN I CALLED VISA AND THEY WERE SHOCKED SAYING WOW IF YOU WERE GIVING BIRTH HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSE TO CANCEL!
