Bought a camera lens, tried it when I got home and Auto focus was broken. Brought it back within a 24 hour period and wouldn't refund or swap lens off of different camera. (Did offer in store credit). Didn't need anything else available in the store now I'm stuck with a broken lens.
Called the Joe White Ave location in Myrtle Beach to see if I could pawn something at their store... They told me I COULD.... I get there and Bobby says "who told you that we would loan anything on this? It's over 10 years old." Then proceeds to help someone else leaving me standing there wondering if they are going to let me pawn my item. But apparently they were not going to let me pawn it but never said that they weren't. Very poor service. I used to bring all my business there but I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.
The dick's pawn on MR. JOE WHITE AVE sucks! Worst pawn shop I ever went to and I will never be going back. It only took them 6 weeks to get my girlfriend's rings fixed! I was lied to several times about what day it would be done. I called 3 seperate times to see if they were done and was told they would text me. Never received any phone call or text. We finally show up there on a Sunday and they were finally done (Yeah, thanks for calling) Than had issues with Kathy the sales associate she was not helpful, no apology for the long 20 minute wait, didn't even ask how my girlfriend's rings turned out, no have a nice day, and she was very rude. She also assumed we were with the two people she called her best customers? Let me just say DON'T WASTE your TIME or MONEY HERE, SAVE IT & GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
DO NOT GO to this store the employees do not know the value of anything . Once i had a penny that was over 70 years old and the employee acted like i tried to pawn a have half used toilet paper roll. So my overall opinion if u wanna sell something dont come here, u will get 1/5 of what your product is worth but if ur looking to buy expect to overpay on most things. So my opinion of this store is that it is pure GARBAGE!!!
The jeweler at this location sucks! Don't even waste your time. I would rather spend the extra money somewhere else than go here.
