They resized a 14 kt ring for me and did a great job. It only took about 2 hours wait. I would recommend them, they're just a tad expensive, but most other places would send it away for 2 weeks and that's a long time to wait.
Went to Fast Fix at the Coastal Mall in Myrtle Beach SC today to get a battery replaced in my Fossil watch. I was first quoted $32.00 and told there was a five year warranty on the battery and it would be replaced for free should it go dead in the warranty time frame. After leaving the store I decided I did not want to spend that much for a battery so I returned to the store and ask if it would be possible to just purchase a battery without the 5 year deal and was told I could but there would be no warranty at all and if the battery died the next day there would be no warranty, I agreed and returned 45 minutes later to pick up my watch and was charged $21.95 for a simple battery change with no guarantee or warranty. These people are ripoff art is in my opinion. The cost of a battery is approximately $3.00 or less and they charge $21.95 with no guarantee at all. It will be a cold day in hell before they ever see my smiling face in that storr.
I'm not sure who is at fault here, but I took a functioning expensive Swiss watch there for a battery replacement. When the battery needs replacement the chronometer sweep second hand which normally stays at 12:00 goes to 00:03 or 00:04 and stays there. I asked if they would be able to "zero" that hand and the manager said " Of course" . They charged me $ 119.95 for a battery and installation. (Normally I send it to a certified service center and the work plus shipping usually costs that much) When I picked the watch up (first time) the chronometer sweep hand would not "zero". The watch guy said he would oil the movement and that should fix it. I left and came back again (Now 4 hours of waiting) and it still wouldn't zero. Zac (the clerk) said any further work would have to be paid for, "Something must be wrong with the watch" but after opening it up TWICE, if their repair guy didn't know what that might be I'm certainly not going to give him another crack at it. Now I'm out $130.00, with tax, and it still is NOT working properly. The moral of the story? WalMart quality work at Tiffany's prices.
We went and had our iPhone glass fixed in exactly an hour and they even fixed one of the buttons. Perfect service.
We called ahead of time to see if they had the iPhone glass for repair. They were super nice on the phone and gave us the time and price.
