Nastiest rat hole I ever stayed in. Bathroom was small and cramped. Bed had an air mattress which was partially deflated. Decor was early thrift shop vintage. Breakfast coffee was undrinkable. It was beachfront but view from the room was of the parking lot.
It's a decent place for the price did not seem to be a lot of drug activity which you find runs rampid in Myrtle Beach. The rooms were clean, employees . It's not the Ritz-Carlton but I would definitely stay there again on a budget!
I will say I was not very Impressed. The towels were dirty and the bathroom was disgusting!! The none smoking room smelled like cigarette smoke! The carpet was fairly clean and the beds were actually pretty comfortable and the sheets looked and smelled clean! We looked under the sheets and under the mattress for any signs of bed bugs before we went to sleep. There were no signs of bed bugs in our room! Its been about 3 weeks since our stay and thankfully no one had any bed bug problems. The microwave and kitchen area were a little dirty and outdated! ALSO IF YOU SEE A PHOTO OF WHAT YOU BELIEVE MAY BE A HOT TUB NEXT TO THE SWIMMING POOL OUT SIDE AND YOU WOULD LIKE TO USE A HOT TUB YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN FILLED IN WITH CONCRETE!!! With that being said if house keeping would do there jobs and clean and with a bit of updating it would not be to bad of a place to stay for the money!
I and my husband has stayed here before and had no problems while staying here the front office staff as well as the housekeeper Evelyn goes beyond her job to make sure that your room is right from the start and she is good at her job and takes pride in her job
I must say I booked with this hotel for a 3 night 4 day stay, the first night we came back to a room infested with roaches, we spoke to a first representative named Chris he told me and my guest to come back the following morning to speak with the manager Lynn; she he stated we wouldn't get a refund for anything; she offered the worst customer service I have ever experienced with any person in charge of a business. She rolled her eyes, while I was explaining the conditions of our room to her she responded in a very hostile aggressive tone. She stated we don't give refunds, a Chris didn't tell you guys that. She stated that roaches wouldn't kill us and she didn't know any hotel that didn't have a roach problem. She then stated the only option she could give us was a room on the 3rd floor, myself and guests along with room service went to the 3rd floor to check the room out, when we opened the door walked around and pulled the covers back the sheets had blood on them and other stains. Room service stated this is unacceptable. I immediately contacted the corporate office and spoke to a representative at Wyndham Resorts, he was very accommodating, listening to my compliants. He placed me on hold and called the hotel the manager Lynn looked at the phone and let it ring 3 times before she answered, I said corporate office is calling u, she looked at us and rolled her eyes once more. She was so rude and inconsiderate. She answered the phone, hung up and said come back at 12 we will have a check for the reminder of your stay. I obtained a reference number and the name of the representative I spoke with at Wyndham Resorts to ensure there would be any miscommunication between myself and the manager at Days Inn on 1403 Ocean Ave. The only reason they have 1 star is because it was an option to leave a review. DO NOT STAY HERE!
