8/17 Our experience at the Dayton House was excellent. Our room at north tower 6th floor ocean side was very clean with a great view. The staff was very friendly and very helpful anything we needed they had it to us quickly. The grounds was always spotless and the pools & hot tubs was always crystal clear. The ladies working at the bar was always friendly & fun to talk too.
A little older but still great and with the coupons, the price was great. You can use all the niceties in the 4 buildings. I thought when I first showed up we were in just one but upon check in they explained all four are seen as one place. So we tried out all the pools hot tubes saunas ping pong, bag toss games there was to offer. And being right on the beach is great.

We have stayed at Dayton House before about 2 years ago and had a great room and no issues. This time was different. One of the elevators never did work and at times we had to take the stairs because it took too long for the only other elevator to be available. Taking the stairs was not good. They are narrow and the stairwell is old and dark. Our room really needs to be redone and the balcony is in bad shape. The last night we found a cockroach running across our bed and an ant in the bathroom. We told management the next day as we were checking out and they said they will credit us for one night on our bill and apologized. Housekeeping people were very nice. Parking also us very tight and we had to park across the street several times.We will not stay here again.
We loved having an oven/stovetop, microwave and fridge with freezer in the room for sure. We saved money coming in our room rather than eating out every meal
Pleasant, clean room accommodations and a caring front desk staff. Quick check in and easy parking. Corner room was just perfect. Will definitely return.
