I'm not sure I totally recommend it as a hotel to bring your family to but as someone who was in Myrtle Beach for a few days, was just spending enough time in the hotel to shower, sleep and watch a bit of TV at night, and wanted a good location, the hotel seemed to be a good fit and for a not-unreasonable price (though the weekend rate was at the high end of what I would pay for this type of hotel elsewhere).
Overall it wasn't a bad hotel. This wasn't the nicest Fairfield in I've stayed in but it wasn't as bad as some of the other reviews made it seem. The location is excellent but the hotel itself does seem a little dated in terms of the interior of the rooms. However, I found the rooms to be clean and the television in good working order with plenty of channels.
The bed was a bit bumpy but only when compared to the better beds of the higher end Marriotts. I found the bathroom a bit cramped and with no frills but it was clean and functioning. The fridge seemed to work well for me and I did not try the microwave. I only sampled a little bit of the breakfast and it didn't seem too crowded at all when I was there at 7am but I was also visiting in a bit of the "off" season so the crowd at the hotel overall was lower.
Excellent, thanks to the front desk clerk for an excellent upgrade. We were at a business meeting trip. Excellent location.
Good morning we check in about 2:30 am thy young lady who check us in was very nice and she had the biggest smile on her face, her customer service skills was great. This morning at breakfast, Jerome was very pleasant full of energy, but most of all the breakfast were hot and very good, it also was very clean. He do a great job. He was very respectful.
The check in and check out were easy and painless. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice. I had an enjoyable stay. Would definitely reccommend
I thought the staff was friendly enough but I also didn't encounter any problems that I needed to take to them. The pool did look very small but I can't speak to the quality.
By far the worst experience. Staff was rude. Did not seem to care. The hotel was really old and dirty. The shower had hairs in it. the beds was hard. Very bad costumer service, seemed like they was even racist towards us. I have never been so disappointed in Fairfield until this stay... beware of this one. Save your money and yourself a headache and go elsewhere.
