Great hotel we we're staying at another hotel but decided to extend our vacation and Decided to stay at the landmark. The lady at the front desk Jennifer was really nice and helpful to meet our needs which included letting us check in at noon. The room was excellent comfy beds flat screen TV and was much larger then other hotels in the area. The ocean view from the room was great and made the balcony a great place to relax. then another huge positive is all the pools they have I believe 12 the outdoor pools were great also having an outdoor lazy river was a huge plus thought it couldn't get better but then boom they had an indoor lazy river and a huge heated indoor pool which was amazing. Definitely recommend and will be staying again next year on our trip to Myrtle Beach
Came here planning on staying 2 nights, but since the weather was nice we decided to stay a third night. At first we had a standard room, but wanted to upgrade rooms. Tish was very helpful and so nice. She did a wonderful job helping us switch over rooms! Great customer service. Thank you for making our trip better.
I stay here every time I visit myrtle beach. My daughters and grandchildren have spent Christmas here in the penthouse. That was so much fun for them. They lazy river is one of my youngest grandchild favorite part of our trip. I love the hot tub. The restaurant is nice also. The employees are very friendly. They make you feel right at home. The suites are lovely as well. Beds are comfortable and rooms are decorated so nicely. Everything is up to date. This is the only resort I need to stay at when I'm here. The accomidate all of our needs. We rarely leave the hotel. But if you need anything, grocery stores are right around the corner.
We have stayed here on and off for years but I think this will be the last. It's amazing they continue to advertise they have a gym with only a handful of pieces of equipment. If you notice there are no pictures on their site for good reason. The choice of food options is limited. We decided not to have our room cleaned and only needed towels and toilet paper. Barely made it to the maid's cart before she started saying she had no towels. No offer to get any or offer assistance. This was on the ninth floor. The pools are not clean looking and kids running, literally, all over the hotel pulling pranks and screaming. Someone was smoking pot on the balconies as well. We were supposedly put in a newer room but it wasn't that nice with the tv hanging sideways on the wall and cords everywhere. The microwave was disgusting and half the silverware and dinnerware was gone or dirty. The towels, as mentioned in other reviews, are so scratchy and small, it made me miss those at Patricia Grand (at one point I would not stay anywhere but here). I have to say for the off season landmark has really gone down and charges too much for what little it offers. I honestly wish I had paid extra to stay elsewhere. Oh well...next time.
I had a good stay. Front desk staff is friendly. Breakfast was not good at all. Service at the bar and restaurant was slow. The food at the restaurant was okay. Do not have high expectations when visiting...
