This hotel was nicely priced, but for great reason!!! Their vending machines were constantly out of product. It took us over 20 min to check in. There was only one guest ahead of myself. The clerk was literally sitting on behind the counter on his cellphone and would not assest us until he was done with a personal connection. We stayed two nights nights and there was a dead cockroach in front of my door the entire time. Great view of the beach though...
This hotel was definitely not up to par. I wouldn't recommend anyone here. The hotel is dirty and nothing like the pictures online. The door to my balcony didn't lock. There are several bugs inside the hotel. I found a roach crawling around the sink. When I brought this to the managers attention he insinuated that I was just trying to get a refund. He was racist and asked me if I would shoot him because I am African American. The police were called and I was given a partial refund. However, I will never stay at this hotel again!
This was our third year in a row staying at this hotel. The first two years were great. No real complaints other than the very old elevator and the fact that it is in need of some general upgrades, but overall a very nice experience. This year was completely different. The elevator has gotten even worse even though I didn't think that was possible. The worst part was the roaches. I understand that bugs are a fact of life, and that countless numbers of people from all walks of life stay in these hotels a year, but these things were out a lot. Day, night, just about anytime we went into the bathroom there was at least one lurking somewhere. Needless to say, we will be finding a different place to stay for next year.
I really enjoyed the services. Our room was clean, the employees were super friendly especially the receptionist when we checked in. First impressions is always a major key for me. Would definitely use this hotel again!!! No complaints!!!!!!!
Good staff here, friendly and helpful. Very nice rates for a hotel just across the street from the beach. On the down side, no grab bars in the shower, and the toilet was one of the old-fashioned low ones. Several good restaurants close by.
