Came with my friend for a girls trip weekend. Hotel is a quick walk from the beach and is next to a Waffle House and Jurassic Mini Golf. The overall hotel is great. The lobby and hallways are clean. Our room was clean and no signs of bugs. A mini fridge would have been nice to have though. Would have given 5 Stars had it not been for the random drunk person knocking on my door at 1 in the morning, freaking me and my friend out.
So clean! And pet friendly! All too often pet friendly hotels are dumps for want of a better word....and Red Roof is the exception!! Never a extra charge for your pet and MOST are exceptionally clean. The hotel industry could learn something from this chain......
Nice hotel the rooms are clean and quiet. They have a nice staff and are pet friendly. Also, its only two blocks from the beach. Will stay there again.
Dirty disgusting BED BUGS! Horrible management when problem was reported. Initially no management on staff when problem reported. Wish I could give 1/4 star.
I love the staff here. Very comfortable and knowledgeable people. Beside the fact that they allow pets (this specific Red Roof allows up to 60 lbs), the proximity to the beach was amazing. A quick, straight shot 10 minute walk and you're there. The only downside to the inn was the breakfast. Served seasonally in the summer, it was very small, and I found out that the syrup stays refrigerated (even though they are individually wrapped packs like jelly). It made the syrup thick and grainy, much like a gel. Fortunately, there is a great breakfast spot right next door. Still, though, the inn itself is great. I'll be visiting again.
