Our room was very clean. Spectacular views, ocean view balcony. Room is dated, only one elevator for 10 floors. We are in the 10th floor. People checking in at 1am and it was very loud. But so far we've enjoyed our stay. The woman at the front desk was very nice and welcoming. For nearly $160 a night, I was hoping for something nicer, but it'll do.
This is a very clean place. Sure some of the sruff is dated but who cares. The staff is super friendly. The maid happened to be on our floor when i got here. She insisted on waiting until i made sure everything was perfect. There was not even a speck od dust. I only gave them 4 stars because the elevator floor does need repaired as it is week. But I would definitely stay here again.
First time staying at the Sea Horn & it was a pleasant stay. Definitely not your 5 star hotel but for the money it was well worth it. The staff at the front desk was very nice & accommodating so that's always a plus in our book. Rooms & elevator could use some updating but for the amount of time we actually spent in the room it was all we needed. Great location as well on the quiet end of the strip. Overall a great stay & we will go back!
A good point: the location right on the beach and far from the amusement park, so it was pretty quiet. But globally, it was too expensive for what it offers. They should invest some of the money they are making to renovate everything...
The room itself, on the other hand, wasn't bad. The beds were comfortable, the sheets were clean and we had room cleaning service every day. The lady was very kind and she would give us a bunch of clean towels every day, as well as toilet paper. The kitchen had very old appliances, fortunately all working well so we could use them. The pots and dishes were scarce and not too inviting, we had to buy more to be able to eat all together.
We stayed in this motel in August 2017 for a week. The first impression was really bad: a disgusting elevator (only one for a 10-story building!!) a bad-smelling carpet on the 10th floor where we stayed and on top of it a disgusting big black BUG hurrying towards our room... Awful!! During our stay we found 2 or 3 more such bugs in our room...
Off to a rough start Y'all! We were told upon arrival, that there is a slight delay and rooms would be ready in 20 minutes so, of course, we waited in the "lobby." Wait time for a semi- clean rooms: One hour and 45 minutes. The "lobby" is the size of your closet, so we had to wait in the parking lot on a 98 degree day! We were also told that housekeeping "is not good about supplying extra towels (or clean ones we later discovered.) Who does that? Our group reserved four suites. These rooms are trash! We have missing furniture, a broken refrigerator, air conditioning wall units (some do work though, but emit a weird odor), no closets at all, aluminum foil lined burners on the stove and inside the oven, indoor pool that is inhabitable and the jacuzzi is drained and moldy. Oh, did I mention the police on scene investigating possible theft? It appears that a staff member was being accused of stealing a large amount of money from a guest' room... allegedly. Our rooms are not at all how it is represented online. I wonder where those are located? If yo place is ghetto, just say so! I highly recommend that you sleep in the car before choosing to sleep here. Don't pay money for this.
