First time here, and i really like the location. Parking is free with your reservation which is really nice, rooms are nice (mine is ocean front), and staff are nice. On the other hand, there are a lot of inconveniences that greatly affected my experience. First of all the AC unit leaks water and it is flooding the balcony. In addition, the toilet is NOT fixed to the ground, not the seat, the whole combination unit shakes when you sit on it and it is kinda gross. It is a nice place but i have a feeling that it is not being treated as such by the management team. Maybe they are milking the cow and trying to make the most money out of the place without investing in it at all, but the things i mentioned above are so necessary and they should get it fixed if they want their guests to enjoy their stay.
Also is very clean.
I had a greater time and their pool is really cool. Room was so nice too! But I didn't appreciate when male room service came into My room when me and my boyfriend were naked. They weren't rude tho.
We've stayed at this resort 3 times in the past year. They always have the best rates no matter the time of year! We just got back Sunday, October 9th, from a weekend trip. We always book a room with a king bed and oceanfront balcony. It's so peaceful at night hearing the waves, or people watching during the day. The location is great. The bar is my favorite. The bucket drinks are a great deal and the bartenders are always lovely- the food is good too. The rooms are spacious enough that we don't feel like we're walking over each other. Plenty of parking spots in the garage. I personally dislike that they don't have a lazy river but it isn't a huge enough deal that ruins our stay here. Will definitely book a room here again. Checked in at 5pm. Broken balcony slider, loose toilet and leaking water, smelled like smoke. Ask front desk to give us a new room but they said they would send someone up to fix the stuff. Went out, got back at 11pm, nothing fixed. Turned on heat in room, no heat. Went to front desk (new receptionist), requested new room again and had to explain what's wrong all over again. Finally got a new room but still not much better. Defently doesn't look like the pictures they show on the website. What a major disappointment.
Overall this is a decent hotel. It’s older and it appears they are upgrading it. New furnishings and floors. The staff was amazing and the room was clean. There were issues with parking garage elevator. It needs to be serviced, it always felt like we might get stuck. The pool deck also seemed in need of minor repair. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
